TEST RESULTS: WATER SOLUBLE FILM

COLD WATER SOLUBLE FILM

  • Applications: packaging, water-soluble labels, embroidery underlay and other applications

  • Typical Properties: at (45+/-2)%rh, 22+/-2⁰c temperature

  • Machinability Tensile Strength: (gb/t 13022-1991) > 32mpa

  • Machinability Tear Strength: (qb/t 1132-1991) > 100n/mm

  • Machinability Elongation: (gb/3022) > 200%

  • Testing Condition: type c film was kept in an oven at 60-65⁰c for 3 hours and then returned to room temperature.

  • Heat Resistance: temperature up to 130⁰c resulted in softening of the film.  Temperature up to 170⁰c resulted in the film melting.

  • Solubility: 25 microns at water temperature of 15⁰c resulted in dispersion within 18 seconds and dissolution at 280 seconds

HOT WATER SOLUBLE FILM

  • Applications: carrier bags, packaging, mould-releasing and other applications

  • Solubility: 25 microns thickness, at 65⁰c water temperature, resulted in dispersion within 26 seconds and dissolution at 280 seconds
